Sharing the American Dream

Since its inception, American democracy with its unique blend of freedoms and capitalism have attracted immigrants from around the world. In America, anyone and everyone can achieve the American Dream by hard work and persistence. Birth lineage, social class, nor religious preference stand as barriers for access to education, housing, or employment. The opportunities and possibilities for creating wealth are unimaginable in other countries.

Therefore, for those who have achieved the American Dream, it is a shared responsibility to protect, defend and strengthen American democracy to ensure that it continues to be the “Land of Opportunity” for future generations. With this in mind, and in keeping with the Foundation’s philosophy of supporting underserved populations, the Foundation embarked upon its final two funding initiatives totaling $250MM invested in the Asian American / Pacific Islander  (AAPI) and American Indian/Alaska Native  (AIAN) communities.
